Mr. Rahul Shakdwepiya serves as the Project Coordinator for the REEL Regenerative Sustainable Cotton Programme in Vadodara. He holds a Master’s degree from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, with a specialized focus on community strengthening and development. Before joining the REEL programme, he worked as a Project Coordinator with Plan International (Plan India), where he focused on nutrition and maternal–child health, strengthening community awareness, behaviour change, and field-based implementation through CHWs and local stakeholders. In his current role, Rahul is responsible for organizing trainings, meetings, and capacity-building sessions for farmer groups. He works with approximately 650 farmers throughout the cotton-growing season, enabling them to adopt sustainable and regenerative agricultural practices in alignment with REEL principles and criteria. Rahul maintains strong coordination with Field Facilitators, Lead Farmers, Farmer Groups, and comparison farmers, ensuring smooth implementation of all project activities. His academic background combined with diverse community and field experience makes him highly effective in farmer engagement, capacity building, and project execution.
