Learning assistance is a children-centred and volunteer-based mentoring activities designed to assist to implement learning that supports, guides and enriches the wellbeing and learning outcomes of local children. It focuses on the wellbeing, academic, social and emotional needs of students through the powerful and positive contribution of mentors. Support the successful learning process, build confidence and self-esteem with develop positive relationships between children and mentor in a safe environment. Promote, encourage and value parent/caregiver and community commitment and participation. Foster and strengthen parent/caregiver and mentor relationships.
We have learning process started through 6 “Learning Assistant (Community volunteer mentors)” in various rural need base communities.
